Meet Lina Mayorga
Lina Mayorga is a multidisciplinary artist, painter, fashion designer, and visual storyteller whose work explores emotional weight, human presence, and transformation through material, observation, and place. Her practice moves fluidly between studio painting, urban sketching, travel-based documentation, and large-scale work.
Trained as a fashion designer at Parsons School of Design in New York, Lina built an early career rooted in sustainability, veganism, and material innovation. She founded a sustainable fashion brand called LMS, presented collections internationally, including fashion showa in Hong Kong, New York, London, Berlin, and developed product lines for Calvin Klein and Victoria’s Secret. Her work has been featured in outlets such as Women’s Wear Daily, NY1 News, Univision, Fashion TV, and Not Just a Label.
In recognition of her work in ethical design, Lina was a finalist for the Redress Design Award in Hong Kong and later received the ISKO ISKOOL Best Denim Talent Look Award. She has been invited to speak globally at institutions and platforms including FIT and PETA, Mazar US, and Neonyt Expo in Berlin, contributing to conversations on sustainability, veganism, and the future of fashion.
In 2025, Lina made a deliberate transition into painting, returning to art as a space for intuition, slowness, and emotional depth beyond production cycles. Her visual practice spans watercolor, acrylic, clay, and sculptural impasto, with a particular focus on heavy, three-dimensional paint surfaces where material itself carries weight. Alongside density and texture, she embraces softness and transparency, allowing contrast to mirror emotional experience.
Urban sketching and travel are integral to her process. Lina documents people and environments in motion: streets, cafés, transit spaces, and natural settings, using observation as research. These sketches inform larger studio works, where posture, gesture, clothing, and environment function as cultural language. Her work is influenced by nature, Korean aesthetics and symbolism, feminine energy, and the experience on earth.
Alongside her art practice, Lina is a co-founder of Plant Pastry, a family-run vegan bakery rooted in care, sustainability, and art, values that echo throughout her visual work.
She continues to develop a fine art practice rooted in material exploration, sustainability, and emotional truth; allowing fashion to exist as art, not production, and painting to evolve between weight and softness.

Discover Your Fashion Values: LMS’s Sustainable Statement
At LMS By Lina Mayorga, we understand the needs of discerning clients who demand more from their clothing. Our ideal customer is seeking versatile, high-quality attire that effortlessly shifts from professional to leisure, all while upholding sustainability and vegan values. The disregard for animal welfare, the environmental impact of fast fashion, and the scarcity of such adaptable garments deeply trouble them. Frustration simmers over the slow pace of ethical change in the industry, especially for multifunctional pieces. The looming threat of irreversible harm to the planet, humanity, and the suffering of innocent animals drives their quest for brands like ours.
